Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo

Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo (/ˈbæqi/ /hɑˈmɑdo/ [left] [mural]) is a temperate Large City located in Ba Chyayû Kingdom, Chyûyu̽ Lu̹sû Empire, within the Warren.

The name Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo is derived from the Sylvin language, as Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo was founded by Brèsil, who was culturaly Rattu.

Climate

Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo has a yearly average temperature of 13°C (55°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 25°C (77°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 1°C (33°F). Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo was founded durring the late 10th century, by Brèsil. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo was built using the conventions of Rattu durring the late 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo is buildings have been located at convienant points along the swamp Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the premissive baked earthen streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The city rests behind a thick wall made from clay bricks. The wall has all of the proper fortifications and is well made. Unfortuantly the nature of clay brick leaves it quite vulnerable to siege equipment, though the thickness of the wall lends it simmilar resistnace to a thinner hardrock wall. Astonishigly, the millitarily questionable fortifications are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

The city shows nothing out of the ordinary, at first glance. Then you start to notice all the small things. Each window has seven iron nails pounded into the sill. Every door has a sprig of holly overhead. Every well is branded with purity seals and runes to ward the contents. Everyone is carrying a small charm for safety or fortune, be it a rabbit’s foot, a horseshoe, or other little totems.

Civic Infrastructure

Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo possesses a city-wide Aethary Link which provides Aethary access anywhere within its metropolitan. This allows citizens who can afford the relevant devices access in their places of work, and rarely homes.

Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo has an animal control department which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the control, impoundment, and disposition of animals.

Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo's old civil lighting system was converted to Galvanic Lamps recently, and expanded to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.

Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo has a first rate hospital which caters to anyone in need of long term medical care.

Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo has a library, which keeps a large collection of books, scrolls, and archives all manner of physical items. While not open to the public, the librarians and scholars employed by the library will assist anyone with their research needs, and wealthy individuals can purchase membership to access the library's materials themselves. In spite of being generally closed to the public, the library has a room with several Aether Linked devices available to the public during business hours.

Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo's natural decorations nor waterways.

Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.

Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for the combined use of arcuated and trabeated construction, employing arches and constructed with post and lintel. The arch served as the style's chief structural element, with flanking columns serving as buttresses or decorations. While the general shape of their structures could be generously described as simplistic, the use of these arches and columns created a most distinct ascetic which is easily distinguishable on sight to armatures and experts alike.

In Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo the utterance of expletives is impossible within city limits. This has changed as the limits have changed, but has not kept up with slang, or swearing in foreign languages.

The Ovinnik near Chyameya Bæqi Hâmâdo are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.
